SAFETY GROUP TO HEAR ABOUT DRUG LAW CHANGE: A new state law which takes effect in October lets employers ask for a disallowance of a workers' compensation claim if a worker refuses to take a drug test. Details of the new law and how it affects the BWC Drug-Free Workplace Program will be explained at the next luncheon of the Ross County Safety Council. Jack Sayers, vice president of financial institution marketing for Great American Financial Resources in Cincinnati, will be the guest speaker at the 11:30 a.m. event at the Chillicothe Country Club. And, as always, each firm represented will get 30 seconds to talk about the latest in their industry.
