MAIN STREET WAS TICKET CENTRAL: More than 100 people stood in line early Monday morning to get a chance at the "preferred reserve" tickets for the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at the Ross County Fair this year. The earliest arrived Sunday afternoon around 3. Some reserved seat tickets and grandstand tickets are still available as well as plenty of tickets for the country concert the next night. Orders can be done by phone (702-2722) with a credit card or by coming to the Welcome Center at 45 E. Main St. from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays.

LEVY CAMPAIGN TO BE DISSECTED: Wednesday's Networking Luncheon will feature the chairmen of the committees who masterminded the very successful campaign in which the Chillicothe City Schools operating levy won overwhelmingly earlier this month. They will explain the strategies involved to get the levy passed. In addition, each company present will get 30 seconds to promote their business. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Chillicothe Country Club and costs $15. Networking Luncheon registration

OPEN HOUSE TO SHOWCASE WELCOME CENTER: The chamber and visitors bureau are anxious to show off our new offices in downtown Chillicothe so we're planning a joint open house on Tuesday, June 7 from 5-7 p.m. No registrations are required for the BAB-style event, so just plan on joining us that evening and bring along a guest or two. Food and refreshments will be out back.
