The chamber is always looking for ways to help its members. When that help also has benefits for the chamber itself, it becomes a win-win-win situation for all involved. Below is information about those firms for whom we have formed a partnership. We hope you'll take a look at each and see how they might benefit your company. To learn more about any of them, just click on their logos to get to their websites.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
Through an alliance with other chambers in central and southern Ohio, this chamber can offer its members the opportunity to acquire health insurance at a discount rate. Members work through insurance agents with whom they are comfortable or the chamber can provide referrals. The agents work with Anthem to provide health insurance plans that carry premiums that are about 4% below market rates. Businesses must insure at least two employees to qualify.
The chamber benefits through a reimbursement when it advertises the Anthem plan. The amount of the reimbursement is set yearly and is based on the amount of the premiums being paid by member companies.
To learn more, call your local insurance agent and have him or her inquire about the plan.
Certifichecks
If you're looking for that perfect gift for your Employee of the Month, your spouse, your kids or even your friends, nothing is better than a gift certificate that's good at more than 100 local businesses. You can purchase in many denominations beginning at $10 and you can do it online from work, home or anywhere. The chamber receives a percentage of the sales.
Compensation Consultants Inc.
For years, many employers have complained loud and long about the rising cost of the premiums they pay to the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. Many have never checked how much they might save if they become part of the chamber's group rating plan, administered through Compensation Consultants Inc. One phone call or e-mail can give you information quickly to learn if you can save on your premiums. Many firms report up to a 90 percent savings. The chamber benefits by the number of firms enrolled and the premiums paid.
