The Jaycees' course provides plenty of challenges without being punitive. The shelter area is a great place to begin the outing with coffee and doughnuts, pick up a hot dog at the turn and enjoy the meal while learning about the winners and the drawing of the numerous door prizes. Of course, your favorite beverages are available all day long. The 18-hole event will be on Friday, June 6 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The outing is a fund-raiser for the chamber to continue its programs and activities on behalf of members.

A team in the outing costs $300. Individuals may register for $75. Payment must be received in advance.

The chamber also is seeking sponsorships, participant items (balls, tees, etc.) and skill and door prizes. Tee and green sponsorships are $50 (except No. 1 tee which is $100).
